METAL FRAME & mechanisms

The structure is the most important element within the seating perimeter. This is why we at QuadraPro are primarily concerned with the design of all metal components of front and rear car seats, as well as the mechanisms that allow their increasingly ergonomic adjustments. Innovative steels and hybrid materials allow us to decrease the weight of our structures while keeping the technical characteristics unchanged.

We then study in detail the rails that guarantee the correct interfacing with the chassis of the car model in question, and thanks to the modularity of the products we develop, we are able to reduce costs for our clients by optimizing machinery already operating on other models. The space occupied by the seat kits is thus minimized and the passenger compartment made more spacious and comfortable.

BACKREST & CUSHION FOAM

In accordance with the customer’s needs, we design comfortable foam that perfectly fits the body structure and minimizes stress on the spine. We therefore follow the development of our products from the first macro-feasibility analysis to its actual implementation, and in sharing with the production site we consider density, bearing capacity, stiffness and flammability parameters in the design of polyurethane foam components.

In QuadraPro we also take care of the installation and control of the components of the various systems inserted in the seat perimeter, such as ventilation and heating systems for seats and backrests, massage inserts and bolsters both dynamic and manual, along with fully motorized headrests with integrated Hi-Fi system.

In addition, comprehensive “meat to metal” analysis, an indispensable process during the development of new seat kits, allows us to ensure the correct calibration of foam thickness to achieve a perfect level of comfort.

jit & trim COMPONENTS

We are able to develop JIT components such as side covers, control knobs and levers, armrests and headrests, as well as covers of all types and shapes in plastic and carbon fiber materials

Axis management and mold division processes, aesthetic embossing treatments, undercut carriages and material tolerances are rigidly analyzed, as well as the proper installation of linings on all seat patterns, including under covers, soundproofing materials and aesthetic upholstery, available in eco-friendly fabrics, alcantara, genuine synthetic leather.

Focus safety

For us at QuadraPro safety is crucial and for this reason we specialize in the feasibility study of active and passive safety components installed directly on the seat perimeter such as side bags, fair side, anti whiplash system, seat belts embarked on seat as well as SBR system (both in the PPD versiona mat and pressure switch on the B side). In this regard and given the close cooperation with manufacturers our team is constantly updating according to the latest guidance from the Official Journal of the European Union - and equivalent documentation for markets NAFTA, LATAM and APAC - so that we can provide support at the design phase enabling the registration of the manufacturers' cars in all target markets.
